My 1st Treasury!

I snagged my first Treasury today on Etsy! I called it "Hog the LIMElight". A Treasury is a collection of 12 favorite items handpicked by an Etsy member and displayed for all to see. It's basically a promotional tool for other Etsy sellers - you're not supposed to use your own items in it. If a treasury is exceptional, the Etsy admin will choose to display it on Etsy's home page for an hour, which increases views to the Etsy stores featured (and hopefully sales too!) I love this part of Etsy because its soul purpose is to generate positive vibes. It feels so wonderful to know that there are people out there that want you to do well with your store and that like an item enough to feature it in their treasuries. I equate it to the feeling of winning an Oscar or a Grammy...well... something like that anyways. Now go check it out and tell me what you think!

Busy Week!

I'm so terrible, I've had so much going on this week that I lost track of time and didn't get around to featuring an Etsy shop on Thursday! Ack! School has been really crazy and since midterms are coming up it's going to get a lot more hectic!

I do have some exciting news though, my chicakdee print was featured in a treasury by Isewcute! That really made my week! (Thank you!)

Featured Etsy Seller - Debbiesbirdhouses

Once again it's time to feature another wonderful Etsy seller! This week's seller is Debbiesbirdhouses! She and her husband Jon have been creating pottery for over 30 years (now that's dedication!). It's very obvious that they love what they do and it definitely shows in their beautiful creations. One of my favorite items of hers is the Egg in a Nest Birdhouse, which speaks for itself - charming, darling, and full of whimsy!
I love the beautiful colors and texture of it. Besides being a great birdhouse, I think it would make a wonderful gift or even a fun item to use in home decor.
